L is the side panel (front-to-back depth), W is the face width, and H is the height. Inner, die-face, and outer sizes use the same single-wall tube as the tuck page, not the mailer double-wall formula. Die face is crease to crease.
Folding cartons are often 0.3โ1.2 mm. This page allows 0.2โ5 mm.
Inner W = die-face W โ 2T; L and H match the die face. Outer L = die-face L + 2T, H = die-face H + 2T, and W matches the face die. All three match when T = 0.
Straight tuck (STE): both the top and bottom lids hinge on the front, and both tongues fold into the same tube from that face. The back edges are plain, with no opposite tongue. Dust flaps sit on both side panels at the top and bottom. The glue flap is on the left of the front, tapered at both ends, about 12โ15 mm.
One-piece straight tuck end carton. Left to right: glue flap, front W, side L, back W, side L. Both the top and bottom lids hinge on the front panel, each with its own tongue, and both tongues fold into the same tube. The back top and bottom edges are plain. Dust flaps hinge on both side panels at each end, with rounded outer corners and steep sides. The glue flap is on the left of the front, tapered at both ends. Caliper T drives the inner, die-face, and outer sizes. This page is a flat die: no folding preview and no DXF. Units are mm. Check sizes before you cut.
